Telstra sponsorship of both the Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams at the 2012 Olympics has focused on gathering hero messages of support from the Australian public. The HeroMessage campaign, online at bit.ly/heromsg, was promoted with a 60 second commercial featuring Men at Work song “Down Under” reworked by lead singer Colin Hay. Australian expatriates in London appear alongside school children and fans in Australia.
